Born in Scotland in 1962: Alan Greig trained in London (Laban and Central school of Ballet) and was a scholarship student of seminal choreographer Alwin Nikolais (New York) He has since choreographed, performed and taught and performed extensively in the UK.
In 1990 he formed X Factor Dance Company which toured nationally and internationally until 2009. Alan has staged international performances in Germany, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dublin.
He graduated in 2009 from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts with a Master’s Degree (Distinction) in Dance Theatre Practices. He is a member of this years artist advisory group for Dance base (2023-24).
